I recenly was asked to facepaint at one of my coworker's twins' joint birthday party. Besides my closet fear of being in a room surrounded by sugar induced children, I took on the task with an open mind. To my suprised the children were very well behaved and also very appreciative of their paint jobs! Above are just a couple of the final masterpieces. BOOM!

Moist Beets

So one of my new roommates introduced me to his vegetable/fruit juicer. On a recent outing to the open Saturday morning open market in Government Centre, I scooped up a gang of delicious/nutrisious morsels. Most notably was this extreme beet that was about the size of a toddler's head. These are a few snaps of this delicious beast prior to juicing.

After a solid two hours of juicing an clean up, the final vitamin rich concoction included a carrots, a bag of grapes, a carton of strawberries, beet, sweet potato, three cartons of black berries, frozen spinich, banana, and brocolli. Boom!
